Mary Brooks, M.D.
Biography
I am a Vermont native who ventured west to UC San Diego for residency after slowly working my way down the East coast, and ultimately to Portland, OR where I was hired as an assistant professor in the OHSU Division of Hospital Medicine in 2021. I am passionate about medical education and working with learners at all levels, as well as transitions of care and how we can best treat our older, vulnerable populations both in and out of the hospital. I am excited to be joining the geriatrics fellowship at OHSU, and hope to continue my work in caring for older adults in the inpatient and outpatient settings, including the post-acute care world. In my free time I enjoy immersing myself in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest through hiking, camping, backpacking, and snowboarding.
