I grew up in El Paso, Texas and finished undergraduate and medical school at Texas Tech University. Then I came to OHSU for training after medical school and was chief resident in 2015-16. I have experience and interest in value-based care models, reducing inpatient utilization and hospital at home work. I also work for Medically Home, the company partnering with OHSU to do Hospital at Home, as a Medical Director helping to support previously launched programs as well as new programs around the country.  My wife and I have been together for nearly 20 years and we have two kids: Grayson (9) and Alexandria (7). I enjoy playing golf with Grayson, watching Lexi with her killer dance moves and a great gourmet restaurant experience.
