Biography
Melissa McEvoy is a graduate student in the Program in Biomedical Sciences (PBMS). She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Boulder and graduated with a B.A. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and a B.A in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Prior to joining OHSU in 2023, her research focused on bacterial immunology and genetics. At CEDAR, Melissa will be studying cellular mechanisms of resistance to DNA damage in relation to ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3-related protein kinase (ATR).
