Biography

With 25 years of experience in clinical research, Mindy Roberts brings a broad knowledge base to her position as director of research administration for the Knight Cancer Institute.

In addition to overseeing the Knight Clinical Research Quality and Administration group she is also focused on support of the Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG). She has been in her current role since July of 2017. Prior to this position, her clinical research experience began in study coordination and was followed by roles as an industry monitor, regulatory specialist, IRB analyst and in regulatory leadership as an assistant director within the OHSU Research Integrity Office overseeing the Institutional Review Boards (IRB) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). Since 2012, she has served in leadership roles of increasing responsibility within the Knight Cancer Institute Clinical Trials Office. These roles have provided the opportunity to develop an understanding of the operations of clinical trials, a deep regulatory knowledge across disciplines and strong program management expertise. Roberts currently oversees the Knight Data and Safety Monitoring Committee (DSMC), Quality Assurance Auditing, Quality Control Monitoring, Clinical Research Education & Training, CTRP/Clinicaltrials.gov Compliance, Protocol Review & Monitoring (PRMS/CRRC), IND/IDE Regulatory Support, EDC Database Support, Clinical Research Informatics, and Scientific Writing.

She holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
