Biography
Dr. Molly Kornfield is an obstetrician and gynecologist (OB-GYN). She provides care for patients with infertility and repeat (recurrent) pregnancy loss. She also cares for patients interested in egg freezing (fertility preservation).
She performs reproductive procedures that include:
- Intrauterine insemination, a fertility treatment
- In-vitro fertilization (IVF)
- Saline sonography, to see the inside of the uterus
- Hysteroscopy, to diagnose and treat bleeding in the uterus
Her research interests include:
- Genetic testing for repeat pregnancy loss
- Obstetric risks in IVF pregnancies
- Environmental impacts on fertility
Outside of work, Dr. Kornfield enjoys spending time with her husband and rescue dog, exploring the Portland food scene and taking her dog for long walks to enjoy Oregon’s natural beauty.
