Biography

Nikki Szczepanski joins CEDAR as a Computational Biologist Intern through the University of Oregon’s Bioinformatics and Genomics Master's Program. She received a B.S. in Biochemistry and minored in Japanese at the University of Oregon and was involved in research on epigenetic regulation and chromatin biology. At CEDAR, Nikki aims to use her knowledge of bioinformatics and her love of problem solving to address one of today’s most pervasive human health issues. She will help develop and utilize pipelines and tools for high dimensional data analysis.
