Biography

Dr. Ou Tan earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. He completed his post-doctoral research at National Institute of Radiology Science, Chiba, Japan. He acted as a research associate in Cleveland Clinic Foundation from 2002 to 2004. He was an assistant professor of research ophthalmology in Doheny Eye Institute from 2004 to 2010.  Dr. Tan joined the faculty at OHSU Casey Eye Institute in 2010 is now an Associate Professor in Ophthalmology.

Dr. Tan's research interests includes medical image analysis and computer aided diagnosis in glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration with optical coherence tomography.
