Biography

I am a pediatric palliative care provider who treats children with serious illnesses.

I have had the privilege of practicing pediatric critical care for many years but recently switched to pediatric palliative care to spend more time helping families determine what is best for their children during serious illness.

I work with patients and families to navigate the challenges of living with serious illness and aim to improve their quality of life. We have conversations to determine the best treatment options for each patient and their family, focusing on reducing pain and other symptoms related to their condition.

The greatest joy in my work is getting to know my patients and their families, helping them face challenges, and maintaining hope.
Outside of my work at OHSU, I enjoy running, hiking, playing the banjo, reading, and spending time with my family.
