Penelope Caldwell, R.N., C.N.M., D.N.P.
- Assistant Professor, School of Nursing
Biography
Much of my work as a nurse midwife has been in 'out of hospital' settings. Over time this work has given me a degree of expertise in 'normal physiological' birth. My focus as a professor is to encourage my students to trust the birth process, provide family-centered care, and to question the status quo when it comes to routine practices.
