Born are raised in the PNW Rachel started her healthcare journey working as an EMT and a health education Peace Corps volunteer in Burkina Faso. Rachel is a second-degree nurse, has worked as a pediatric nurse for over 3 years and is in her second year of the PNP program. Rachel is passionate about using her first degree in biochemistry to help students understand the pathophysiology of conditions that we treat as providers. On her days off, you can find Rachel doing yoga, hiking or skiing, and cooking vegetarian meals.
