Rachna Mamidi is a pediatrician who cares for premature babies (born before 37 weeks of pregnancy) and newborns who need intensive care.

She is a specialist in newborn (neonatal) care and high-risk pregnancy (perinatal) care. She focuses on:

• Childhood respiratory conditions that start in pregnancy
• Early care to improve patients’ health

For premature babies, she provides care to help them mature and grow. For all patients, she provides care to support nutrition and breathing.

She says of her approach to patient care: “I am passionate about caring for sick newborns because of their resilience. I enjoy watching them overcome critical illness and continue to get strong so they can go home with their families. I value the relationships I build with families to partner together in providing care for their newborn.”

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her dog, Leo. She enjoys being outdoors and active, including hiking and yoga. She loves traveling to experience different cultures and cuisines.
