Biography

I’m an internal medicine physician who specializes in geriatrics. I’m passionate about helping older adults stay healthy and thrive. My clinical interests include preventive care, dementia, medication management and mental health, including depression. I enjoy providing personalized care that focuses on each patient’s unique needs and promotes healthy aging.

In addition to caring for my patients, I love teaching and mentoring. I’m proud to serve as the Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Hillsboro Medical Center, where I help train the next generation of physicians.

I speak both English and Arabic, which allows me to connect with a diverse group of patients. When I’m not working, I enjoy walking and biking with my husband, Sam, and spending quality time with family and friends over dinner and a good movie.
