Biography

Dr. Grabowsky is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Life Fellow with the American Academy Of Pediatric Dentistry. After graduating in 1975 from UCLA Dental School, he stayed at UCLA to study pediatric dentistry and was awarded a certificate for this specialty in 1977. He spent the next 27 years with his own private practice in Bakersfield, California, before leaving for full-time academia in 2004, as an assistant professor in the pediatric dentistry department at the Loma Linda School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California. In 2009, he moved to Vancouver, Washington, to be near his daughters and granddaughters, and joined the pediatric dentistry faculty at the OHSU School of Dentistry that same year to continue his full-time career in academia.

Dr. Grabowsky now serves as the Pre-Doctoral Program Director for Pediatric Dentistry at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. He enjoys working with the predoctoral students in each of their 4 years of dental school and with the pediatric dental residents in the clinical setting.
