Biography
Dr. Stock is a geriatrician, clinical health services researcher and Associate Professor of Family Medicine. A graduate of the University of Nebraska College Of Medicine, Dr. Stock completed his residency and faculty development fellowship in Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine. He is also a Courtesy Professor in the Department of Human Physiology at the University of Oregon. Dr. Stock joined OHSU in 2012 after practicing geriatrics and family medicine in Eugene for the past 20 years. He has dedicated his professional career to improving the quality of healthcare for older adults, with a focus on redesigning the primary care delivery system in a community for vulnerable and frail elders and assessing methods to develop and measure team-based care in the clinical setting. He is married with two adult children and enjoys traveling with his family, hiking, running and fishing.
