Biography

Sarah Drummond Hays joined the faculty in August 2015.  She has a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Portland State University concentrated in higher education.  For her dissertation, she researched factors that facilitate master’s student success specifically looking at the role of advising. Sarah has completed a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Policy in Postsecondary, Adult, and Continuing Education from Portland State University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis and Clark College, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Puget Sound. Her role in the department is to focus on student and program assessment and educational research.  Additionally, she coordinates the Community Outreach Project, which serves as the master’s capstone.
