Seva Khambadkone, M.D., Ph.D. (she/her)

Biography

I specialize in caring for children with neurological challenges, including brain injuries, epilepsy, and neurodevelopmental differences. I love teaming up with pediatric patients, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues in the hospital and clinic to address brain health and overall well-being.

In addition to my clinical work, I am training as a physician-scientist with the Piantino lab. My research is focused on the relationship between cerebrospinal fluid dynamics and brain development and function. I am particularly interested in investigating how these interactions may be affected by both acute clinical events and insidious socioenvironmental stressors, and aim to contribute to developing innovative, evidence-based and empowering interventions.

Outside of work, I can be found reading, outdoors or spending time with my husband and our loved ones, including our cats, Laura and Hardy.
