Biography

Dr. Shaalini Ramanadhan is a generalist obstetrician and gynecologist and a family planning specialist. Her interests include family planning, contraception, opioid use disorder in pregnancy and financial literacy. Dr. Ramanadhan is involved in clinical research focused on understanding how substance use impacts contraception and family planning. She feels privileged to partner with patients to help them not only achieve their reproductive life goals but also to optimize their overall physical health and mental well-being.

Dr. Ramanadhan was born in Texas and raised in Hong Kong, but has lived in many other cities in Asia and the U.S. She now calls Portland home and in her free time likes to take full advantage of the outdoors. She can be found biking, hiking and paddle boarding with her partner and two dogs.
