Shaun manages science communications for the Outreach team at the Institute. His portfolio includes internal and external communications, translating the research output of Institution faculty for broad audiences via written articles, social media, videography, and podcasting. Shaun has over a decade of experience in the field of science communications. Before joining the Institute, Shaun was the Communications and Programming Manager for the research office at Portland State University where he produced research content covering the University’s seven colleges and schools. Additionally, Shaun has experience developing and facilitation science communications workshops for faculty and graduate students.
