Dr. Siyu Chen earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in 2017. He completed his postdoctoral training at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and joined Oregon Health & Science University as Assistant Professor in 2022.

Dr. Chen’s research projects investigated visible light optical coherence tomography (OCT), OCT retinal oximetry, ultrahigh resolution OCT and functional retinal imaging. His research interests include applying next generation imaging technology to facilitate the diagnosis, monitoring, and understanding of eye diseases.
