Biography
Sonam completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015 at Florida International University, where she worked at a free-standing pediatric hospital doing critical care float pool for six years. During this time, she also worked at the Simulation Teaching and Research Center at her alma mater, serving as an adjunct professor for undergraduate and veteran BSN students. Sonam completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Miami, becoming a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019. She then moved across country to Portland, OR as a travel nurse to continue practicing in pediatrics at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for two more years before taking a position with Interventional Radiology. She has worked as a Nurse Navigator for IR since Spring 2022, and is currently the Nurse Practitioner for Interventional Neuroradiology. Outside of work, you can find Sonam enjoying the great outdoors in the PNW, at home with her nose in a book or working on her garden, cycling and spending time with family, friends, her partner and pup.
