Dr. Pimparkar was born in Sydney, Australia, and spent much of her childhood in London, England. She completed her family medicine residency at OHSU and has since joined the OHSU Division of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Pimparkar is dedicated to caring for underserved patients and those facing challenges with health literacy and access to medical care. She finds fulfillment in supporting patients during pivotal moments in their healthcare journey, offering guidance and comfort as they navigate stressful illnesses and ensuring their families are informed and supported throughout the process.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Pimparkar is passionate about medical education and enjoys mentoring medical students and residents, believing in the importance of empowering future physicians. She is also a strong advocate for physician wellness and the practice of narrative medicine.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Pimparkar enjoys running marathons, reading, and singing.
