Dr. Chintalapani was raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She went to St. Bonaventure University for undergrad and then George Washington University for medical school. Subsequently, she trained at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls for her Internal Medicine Residency. During her last year of training, she also served as one of two Chief Residents and was directly involved in creating a residency lecture curriculum, simulation training, and other educational activities. Due to her love of mentorship and teaching, she decided to work at OHSU to gain more experience at a tertiary center and broaden her abilities. Given her love for food, she is very excited to try the wide variety of cuisine offered in Portland. She also enjoys reading, playing board games, hiking and spending time with her family.
