Biography

Dr. Staci Wade-Hernandez is a licensed psychologist with a background in student health and multidisciplinary care.

She completed her B.S. in Psychology at Pacific Union College in northern California. She then returned to her NW roots to earn her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Pacific University.

Dr. Wade-Hernandez has worked in a variety of academic settings including Oregon State University and the University of Portland.

She is integrative in her approach to psychotherapy, utilizing evidence-based practices while maintaining a relational therapeutic style. Her areas of clinical focus include relationship development, trauma, anxiety and mood disorders, gender and sexual identity, body image, and self-compassion. She is dedicated to helping students realize their goals and adopt practices that promote wellness.

Dr. Wade-Hernandez joined the Student Health and Wellness Center in July of 2019 and is delighted to be a member of the OHSU community.
