Stefan Barisic, M.D. (he/him)

Biography

Dr. Stefan Barisic is an Internal Medicine intern. He has a special interest in treating people with cancer and using emerging treatments. Those include immunotherapies, which help your immune system fight cancer, and cellular engineering, which helps your cells kill cancer.
Dr. Barisic pioneered the development of cell therapies to treat kidney cancer. Those therapies are being tested in clinical trials.

He believes in care that’s tailored to each person. Dr. Barisic focuses on using the most up-to-date, evidence-based research. He establishes a partnership with his patients. That fosters a safe, respectful and affirming environment, which allows health concerns to be addressed openly and managed effectively.

Outside of work, Dr. Barisic enjoys spending time with his partner and their fluffy dog, Snowy. He loves traveling, tasting new cuisines, learning new skills and especially seeing Broadway shows.
