Biography
Tana Gazdik joins CEDAR as a Postdoctoral Scholar in Dr. Langer’s lab, working with the ACED (International Alliance for Cancer Early Detection) organization to study early detection and interception of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). She graduated with her Ph.D. in Biomolecular Sciences: Molecular/Cellular Biology, Biophysics, and Biochemistry at Boise State University in Idaho, studying the regulatory mechanisms of the Notch signaling pathway. She hopes to bring her knowledge of basic science to CEDAR to elucidate the complex processes of pancreatic cancer formation.
