Tara M. Rutter, Ph.D. (she/her)
- Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, School of Medicine
Biography
I am a pediatric psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of children and teenagers with neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and ADHD. My clinical and research interests focus on understanding these disorders' behavioral and biological indicators to enhance precision medicine.
I enjoy working with families from diverse backgrounds and believe that patients are the best experts on themselves. I practice affirming care, where we celebrate individual strengths.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, sailing and spending time with my dogs.
