Biography
I am back to teaching for OHSU as Clinical Faculty this year after several years of delivering babies, and taking care of women across the lifespan, as well as my own parents/end of life care. In 1988 I graduated from the Ashland campus (at that time Southern Oregon State College - School of Nursing) with a BSN, and began a wonderful career, first as an RN in Medical/Surgical, ER, OB, and Public Health (Maternal Child) Nursing, then, after earning an MSN in 1994, as a Certified Nurse Midwife/Nurse Practitioner in OB/GYN and Women's Health in a variety of settings, including hospitals, birth centers, Public Health clinics, and private practices. My passion for teaching clinical nursing began shortly after finishing Graduate school, and I am happy to be back, guiding students together with my colleagues, through this challenging, but rewarding education in professional Nursing.
