Zheng Xia, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Computational Biology program and the Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at the OHSU School of Medicine. His lab is developing new computational biology tools for omics-data analysis to identify novel biological mechanisms in different physiological conditions like cancer. Right now, he is particularly interested in developing new tools to analyze single-cell data and identify signatures of distinct cell populations related with different phenotypes.
