About me
Dr. Kornegay joined the Department of Emergency Medicine as full-time faculty in July 2014 after completing his medical school, residency and fellowship training all at OHSU. He currently serves one of the Associate Program Directors for the residency program. One of his greatest education passions is the residency program and assisting with recruitment, teaching and career development for residents joining the field of Emergency Medicine. His research focus is Adult Cardiac Arrest and ways to improve outcomes in this critically ill patient population. When not working, he enjoys martial arts, rock climbing, and spending time with his family.

Insurance
Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
