Biography

Dr. Yuan Zhang graduated from School of medicine in Xi’an Jiaotong University in 1987 and worked as a plastic surgeon for 16 years. After moving to the States, Dr. Zhang worked in Casey Eye Institute and Oregon Hearing Research Center.  His expertise is animal surgery. He joined Center for Regenerative Medicine (CRM) since 2019, he has been working on all the projects involving animal surgeries. He is also an expert annotator for ultrasound images.  Outside work, Yuan likes spending time with his family, hiking with his dog (Poppy).
