PBMS has 144 faculty representing investigators within basic and clinical departments, centers and institutes and regional research organizations. Our faculty have successful research programs that incorporate technological innovation – such as state-of-the art imaging, or single cell expression studies – to answer important questions related to health and disease.

Faculty are affiliated with at least one of six research hubs that are the intellectual "homes" for graduate education and training at OHSU by bringing together students, faculty, postdocs, and other research staff to enhance research success and foster collaborations. Research hubs are built around large concepts that provide an interdisciplinary perspective with multiple levels of analysis.
