Hip protocol for patients from orthopedic surgery or sports medicine physicians: Drs: Herzka, Crawford, Orfaly, Schabel, Chesnutt, Petering, Webb
Note that the OBL AXIAL and SAG sequences are PD Fat Sat, not mid-TE T2 Fat Sat.
If bilateral hips are ordered:
- Run separate unilateral OBL AXIAL PD Fat Sat, SAG PD Fat Sat, and COR Mid-TE T2 Fat Sat.
- Skip unilateral AXIAL Mid-TE T2 Fat Sat and COR T1, and instead do BILAT AXIAL Mid-TE T2 Fat Sat and BILAT Cor T1.
