MR Neck WO - Sleep Apnea Protocol

Exam notes:

  • Exam should be proctored with radiologist present.
  • Use 3D PD to plan rest of scan. Respiratory trigger decreases blurring on PD. 
  • BTFE: Target temporal resolution of 300–400 ms/image over 30–35 s.
  • STIR: Radial acquisition decreases blurring.
  • Static and Cine sequences may need to be repeated at the level of suspected airway obstruction.
