MR Neck WO - Sleep Apnea Protocol
Exam notes:
- Exam should be proctored with radiologist present.
- Use 3D PD to plan rest of scan. Respiratory trigger decreases blurring on PD.
- BTFE: Target temporal resolution of 300–400 ms/image over 30–35 s.
- STIR: Radial acquisition decreases blurring.
- Static and Cine sequences may need to be repeated at the level of suspected airway obstruction.
