The OHSU Therapeutic Medical Physics Residency will be conducting HYBRID INTERVIEWS during the 2024-2025 recruitment season.

Interviews are tentatively planned for virtual interviews with a panel of faculty in January 2025, in-person interviews with OHSU medical physics faculty in March 2025.

The residents and faculty of OHSU's Therapeutic Medical Physics Residency Program intend to participate in the American Association of Physicists in Medicine's (AAPM) 2024 STSC Virtual Residency Fair.

STSC 2024 Virtual Fair Resources:

OHSU will be participating hybrid residency interviews to engage a diverse group of applicants, reduce financial burdens, and minimize time away from educational and personal commitments.

For the 2024-2025 recruitment cycle, this process includes two interview stages: virtual interviews with a panel of faculty in January 2025, followed by in-person interviews with OHSU medical physics faculty in March 2025.

Virtual interviews will be conducted via WebEx.  Interview times will vary. Candidates will participate in a 20 minute interview with a small panel of four faculty.  Interview details with Webex links, call-in information, and technical support details during the week preceding your interview.

In-person interviews will be held at OHSU in Portland, Oregon. Interview days starting promptly at 8:00 am PST. Each interview will last for 15 minutes and will involve panels consisting of two faculty physicists. Candidates may also have interviews with faculty physicians, the department administrator, the radiation therapist manager, and lead dosimetrists.
