The Hatfield Research Center is home to the OHSU and Doernbecher Emergency Room. Hatfield Research Center is connected to the OHSU Hospital. Enter through the OHSU Hospital main entrance. It's a multipurpose building that includes many clinical services, research labs and offices, and the Plaza Café and Deli.

- Take Kohler K Elevator to Floor 9.
- Follow the long hallway and turn right at the Information desk near the entrance to the Portland Aerial Tram.
- Follow the signs to OHSU Hospital.
- Continue past Surgery Waiting and the C Elevators to the main lobby.
- Turn right when you get to the B Elevators.
- Take a left to go down the first hallway past the B Elevators to enter the Hatfield Research Center.
- From Parking Garage B:
- Take elevator to Floor 1.
- Turn left, then right and exit the building.
- Cross the crosswalk under the sky bridge.
- Before reaching Sam Jackson Hall, turn left and follow the exterior walkway along Sam Jackson Hall.
- Turn left to cross the patient drop-off area.
- Enter OHSU Hospital.
- Turn right down the first hallway to enter the Hatfield Research Center.
- From Trimet bus stop 5028 for lines: 8, 61, 64, 65, 66, 68:
- Exit bus and go up the stairs or ramp to follow the signs to the Portland Aerial Tram.
- Enter building and turn right.
- Turn right again before the café.
- Continue past Surgery Waiting and the C Elevators to the main lobby.
- Turn right when you get to the B Elevators.
- Take a left to go down the first hallway past the B Elevators to enter the Hatfield Research Center.
