Dr. Dorr earned his bachelor's degree in economics (with minors in mathematics and psychology) and his M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Oregon Health & Science University and earned a master's degree in medical informatics and health services administration from the University of Utah. Broadly, Dr. Dorr's interests lie in complex care management, especially for older adults and other at-risk populations, coordination of care, collaborative care, chronic disease management, quality and the requirements of clinical information systems to support these areas. From these interests, he has broadened into clinical information needs, Electronic Health Record (EHR) deployment and Health Information Exchange as a way to expand systems-based approaches to all of health care. Finally, Dr. Dorr performs evaluations of care management and informatics initiatives using a variety of methodologies. Lindsey Zimmerman has lived in Portland for over 20 years and attended Reed College. After finishing her undergraduate degree, she spent a number of years at OHSU as a research assistant, Ph.D. student and post-doctoral scholar at the OHSU Advanced Imaging Research Center. Before returning to OHSU in her current role, Zimmerman was the product owner for a business intelligence and analytics team at Cambia Health Solutions and the data lead for the Neuroscience Institute at Providence St. Joseph Health. In her current role, Zimmerman helps investigators find and access data for their research or resources for working with research data. She also helps obtain data for research that OHSU does not currently have or has inconsistently and helps create or improve guidelines for working with research data.

Zach joined the Research Informatics team in April 2024 as an Administrative Coordinator. He graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Zoology. He joined OHSU in March of 2022, working as a Patient Access Specialist in the Pulmonary Clinic. Before that, he worked at the University of Florida in the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) supporting mobile vaccine clinics. He helps provide administrative support to the team, including purchasing, scheduling, organizing travel, and IT support. In his free time, he enjoys running, mountain biking, attending live sporting events, and video production. 

Dirk Petersen has held research computing leadership positions in three different cancer centers, bridging business, scientific requirements and information technology capabilities and interfacing between research and administrative IT. He has more than 25 years of experience in cloud computing, cybersecurity, database management, grant writing, high-performance computing, integration of Linux and Windows operating systems, software development, storage architecture and systems engineering. Originally from flat northern Germany, he enjoys skiing in the Pacific Northwest in his spare time.

CG Brothers’ primary role is providing support to Dr. Dorr, and they serve as the first point of contact for the Office of the CRIO. They hold a bachelor’s degree in film with a minor in English. In their role, Brothers serves as the team’s administrative Swiss Army knife, from addressing scheduling needs to managing tech support to handling purchase requests. Brothers has a wide range of experience that includes providing audio/visual support for anti-racist seminars, acting as direct in-home support for youth with developmental disabilities and volunteering their skills as a photographer for queer foster youth. Brothers is interested in DEI and ensuring fair, equitable and compassionate care for their trans siblings as well as ensuring equitable and accessible health care for people from historically marginalized communities. While not at work, they enjoy reading comics, watching movies and hanging out with their calico.
