Clinical pathways are documents describing a structured approach to a particular medical condition intended to supplement medical decision-making. The pathways provided here are based upon publicly available medical evidence and/or a consensus of medical practitioners at Oregon Health and Sciences University. They are intended to assist clinicians but may need to be adapted by practitioners for each specific patient based on the practitioner’s professional judgment, consideration of any unique circumstances, needs of each patient and their family, and/or availability of various resources at the health care institution where the patient is located.
