Oral Radiology
CBCT Imaging Service
OHSU School of Dentistry’s Oral Radiology Clinic offers imaging services to the dental community in the Portland metro region and beyond.
Dentists can refer patients for cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging to be taken at the School of Dentistry. All images will include a written radiographic interpretation signed by one of our Board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologists. The report will not be available immediately and arrangements will be made to get the report to the ordering dentist. The imaging dataset can be available immediately (released to patient on day of imaging) or mailed to the office per instructions on the request forms.

Imaging Interpretation
OHSU SOD Board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologists also provide comprehensive written radiographic interpretation reports for images taken at the referring doctor’s office.
The images must be transferred via our HIPAA compliant system, as per instructions on the referral form. The same system may be used to send the radiology reports to the referring doctor.
We provide imaging interpretation and second opinion on:
- CBCT dataset
- TMJ imaging studies, including MRI
- Conventional images (periapical, bitewing, and/or panoramic radiographs)
