Loan Forgiveness

Lewis and Clark National Historical Park

Loan forgiveness programs offer tax-free funding for qualified students enrolled in an approved academic programs in exchange for a future service obligation.

Oregon practice sites can apply to participate in Loan Forgiveness programs by filling out a Site Application.

The PCLF was designed to meet workforce needs in rural Oregon for primary care physicians, physician associates/physician assistant, doctors of nursing practice, general surgeons and psychiatrists. PCLF awards may cover full tuition and fees, but can not exceed the highest resident tuition rates at the publicly-funded health professional training programs in Oregon.

SHOI gives students the opportunity to make a difference in an underserved community in Oregon by offering full tuition and fees at an approved OHSU medical program in exchange for a service obligation upon graduation.
