Several of our faculty have active research programs in hematology, stem cell biology and gene therapy that aimed at childhood diseases involving bone marrow stem cells. In close coordination with clinical faculty in the Doernbecher Blood Disorders Program, we specialize in research on bone marrow failure, including Fanconi Anemia.

In addition to internships, we provide selective training opportunities for Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellows interested in specializing in Hematology and Stem cell Disorders.
