Biography
Dr. Amy C. Chen is an internal medicine doctor. She chose to practice primary care medicine because she loves to manage all the different health problems people might encounter in their lifetimes. She enjoys partnering with her patients to achieve mutual health goals so that they can live better and be more fulfilled.
“As a primary care provider, the best part of my job is building trusting relationships with my patients and their families,” she says. “I value a person's whole health and look forward to embarking on a health journey with each of my patients.”
Dr. Chen, an assistant professor at the OHSU School of Medicine, has a strong interest in medical education. She teaches medical students and residents in the classroom and clinic. She is a native of Livingston, New Jersey.
Outside of work, Dr. Chen enjoys exploring Portland's diverse and exciting food scene and spending time with her husband and their labradoodle puppy.
