Biography
Beth is an OHSU alumni both as an undergrad and graduate. She joined the faculty at the School of Nursing in the fall of 2014, after 15 years of practice as a Nurse Practitioner at Washington County Health Dept. She has a passion for seeing health care reach the most vulnerable members of our communities, and has done medical volunteer/disaster relief work in both Latin America and Africa. She is currently clinical faculty in the Population Health Program, working with the I-CAN project as faculty in residence in Old Town/Downtown, Portland, OR.
Her doctoral work was investigating the impact of work with urban, marginalized populations on social justice attitudes of undergraduate nursing students.
