About me

Dr. Gallagher is originally from Sacramento, CA but also claim the Northeast as her own, as she spent her early childhood in Boston, MA and undergraduate years at Dartmouth College. She studied political science, played collegiate soccer and met her husband John, an Oregonian, who introduced her to the beautiful PNW. With their two young daughters and rescue pup, Baker, they have called Portland home for 8 years. Dr. Gallagher enjoys regular trips to the zoo, picnics in the Rose Garden, road-trips to Cannon Beach, leisurely afternoons wandering Powell’s books and long walks/runs through her SW neighborhood. As a medical student passionate about women’s health and education, Dr. Gallagher conducted various cost-effectiveness analyses in operative vaginal deliveries. She also worked as an instructor for Saturday Academy, taught her own acute care curriculum to Portland area high-school students.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
