About me

Dr. Magarian’s passion has always been as a physician-teacher. In this regard, since 1984 he has been responsible for coordinating the introductory clinical experiences of OHSU students in internal medicine, and is recognized as an excellent teacher of students and housestaff. He was also one of the founders of the national organization of Clerkship Directors of Internal Medicine, serving as their first president, and last year being recognized by CDIM in receiving their service award. In his free time he enjoys gardening/landscaping and backpacking.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
