Carmel Howe, Post-Doctoral Scholar from the Frank Lab, has been selected to receive The Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF) 2023 Career Awards at the Scientific Interface (CASI) for their work "Development of a low-cost 3D imaging system for rapid monitoring and targeted photorelease of ligands to identify driver neurons in the brain."

 This award recognizes outstanding scientists who have made significant contributions at the interface of biology and quantitative sciences, bridging the gap between disciplines, and fostering innovation.
