To be seen by a Neurosurgeon at OHSU a referral from your health insurance company (dependent upon your coverage) or your Primary Care Physician (if you have an HMO) is required. Neurosurgery as a specialty at OHSU does not accept self-referrals.

Brain and other Central Nervous System Tumors
The Neuro-Oncology and Skull Base Neurosurgery Clinic provides neurosurgical therapies for skull base tumors, acoustic neuromas and vascular lesions (aneurysms, AVMs), in cooperation with the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
Cerebrovascular Disorders/Stroke
Neurosurgical treatment of vascular abnormalities of the brain and spine.
The OHSU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center provides a full spectrum of medical services for patients with epilepsy.
The OHSU Facial Pain Program is a national leader in the treatment of orofacial pains, including trigeminal neuralgia (tic douloureaux).
In partnership with the Parkinson Center of Oregon and Movement Disorders Program, neurological surgery provides a comprehensive spectrum of medical and neurosurgical evaluation and treatments for adult patients with movement disorders, including evaluation for deep brain stimulation (DBS).
Comprehensive treatment of injuries associated with brain, spine and spinal cord trauma are provided in collaboration with OHSU's emergency physicians, neurosurgeons, trauma service and the Neurosciences Critical Care unit team.
