Admissions
Before you apply, you need:
- To be in your first year of an A.A.S. program at an OCNE community college
- To complete all non-nursing bachelor’s degree requirements, except for 15 upper-division electives, B.S. core nursing credits, or both.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher
- C- or higher in all prerequisite courses
How to apply
Follow these steps to apply:
- Apply by May 14 to start courses in the summer.
- Go to Nursing CAS and apply.
- Send transcripts to Nursing CAS.
Tuition and scholarships

Classes and degree requirements
You need 180 credits to complete the B.S. in nursing degree. This includes prerequisite courses, your associate degree credits, general education and elective credits and 33 credits of RN to B.S. nursing classes taken through OHSU.

Who is eligible to apply for the concurrent enrollment pathway?
You can apply if you are a nursing student at an OCNE community college who fits one of these descriptions:
- Are in your first year of an A.A.S. program.
- Have already completed a bachelor’s or master’s in a non-nursing field and are accepted into an A.A.S. program.
- Are in an A.A.S. program and only need to complete upper-division electives and/or core nursing courses.
