The ILD clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic for patients with autoimmune lung disease receive coordinated treatment between rheumatology and pulmonary specialties, and includes weekly discussions about patient care in our ILD conference that includes patient imaging review with chest radiology. Rheumatologists include Drs. Julianna Desmarais, Daniella Ghetie, and Whitney Elg-Salsman. Pulmonary providers include Drs. Daniel Seifer, Sherie Gause, Jeffrey Robinson, Jared Chiarchiaro, and Tomas Cordova. This clinic is dedicated to treating patients who have ILD or other lung conditions, including pulmonary fibrosis, usual interstitial fibrosis, connective tissue-related lung disease, rheumatoid lung, scleroderma lung, systemic lupus erythematosis related lung disease, sarcoidosis, bronchiolitis obliterans, BOOP, and hypersensitivity pneumonitis. Patients will receive information regarding the latest medical treatment and ongoing clinical research trials, and if needed, discussion of lung transplantation. Their autoimmune disease aside from their lung disease will be managed as well by rheumatology providers.
