Doernbecher Children's Hospital

Pediatric HIV Clinic

OHSU Doernbecher’s Pediatric HIV Clinic is the only clinic in Oregon specializing in pediatric HIV health care and treatment. We provide comprehensive, family-centered care and education for children from infancy to young adulthood with HIV, as well as children born to mothers with HIV.

HIV is now considered a chronic, but manageable disease. Our team brings together multiple specialties — including pediatric infectious disease doctors, nurses, HIV-specific pharmacists, family educators and social workers — to care for children with HIV.

Our services

  • Complete HIV care
  • Medication management
  • Nutrition
  • Developmentally focused, age-specific education
  • Access to clinical trials

While our clinic will work very closely with your child’s primary care provider to coordinate care, we do not offer primary care. If you would like to establish a primary care provider at Doernbecher, please contact us at 503-346-0640.
