Amber Barrett Webster, M.S.
Amber serves as the executive director of the march wellness & fitness center at Oregon Health & Science University. Amber has more than 20 years of experience in the health and fitness field, primarily spending her career in the expanding field of medical wellness. For the last ten years, since the inception of the center, she has directed the successful development and implementation of wellness and fitness at OHSU.
The OHSU march wellness & fitness center is Oregon's only certified medical fitness facility working with both the local communities and the entire state to bridge acute and clinical care with wellness and lifestyle programs.
Previously, Amber was the president and CEO of Lake Forest Health and Fitness, directing two successful medical wellness centers affiliated with Lake Forest Hospital in Illinois, and prior to that was an exercise physiologist at Duke University Diet & Fitness. Her educational background includes a master's degree in health, wellness and exercise sciences.
